No Smoking Day 13th March 'Swap fags for swag'
Each year the Isle of Wight NHS Stop Smoking Service helps hundreds of smokers to quit smoking and begin a new healthier lifestyle. This year No Smoking Day is 13th March and we invite you to join our service at ST Jame's Square Newport 10am until 2pm and: 'Swap fags for swag'.
Why swag? Because our focus groups held by the British heart Foundation told us that the cost of smoking is one of the main drivers for quitting. Health and family are also high on the list, but the cost is what gives people the final push.
This year's No Smoking Day campaign is all about what smokers will gain when they quit - as well as improved health, your wallets will also get heavier, and you can spend the extra cash on whatever you like - whether it's a fun day out for all the family, or a holiday in that place you've always wanted to go.

Does it work?
Yes it does! It has been proven that people who use local NHS stop smoking services do much better than those who try to stop smoking on their own
